Modeling my sunglasses. I asked her to make a serious face. This was her response...weirdo 

Last night on the drive to karate Brynn told me all about the things she is learning in school. They are learning about World War II and reading historical fiction novels together as a class. She's decided she likes historical fiction and books about war, which I will take because she HATES to read.

Then she hits me with this little gem...

"Mom, did you know Hitler invaded Portland, Copenhagen and New Orleans?"

Hmmm....I'd apparently forgotten about the great battle for Portland.

M: "Do you mean Poland?"

B: "Oh yeah, yeah, Poland. Not Portland. That doesn't make any sense."

M: "And it can't be New Orleans, so maybe Norway?"

B: "Um maybe, but I'm pretty sure it was New Orleans. Oh but not Sweden. He never got Sweden. Apparently Sweden used to be tough."

She cracks me up. I hope she always stays this funny.
