Karate Tournament

Grace had her first karate tournament on Saturday. It was exciting, noisy, crowded and nerve racking (for all of us)! She got a little nervous when she started and paused for a second like she was forgetting the moves, but then her brain caught up to her and she finished no problems.

That little pause cost her the win, but we were proud of her for getting up in front of all those people and doing her best!

Grace earned a sportsmanship medal and is planning on going to the Fall tournament, because, and I quote, by fall I'll be able to spar!
