All the trimmings...

Friday night we went on a family date. First we went out to dinner where Grace told us all about a book her class just finished. She told the story in such detail and with such passion. I marveled at what a lovely girl she is and how much enthusiasm she has for things.

We listened to music and danced and sang our way to the new yogurt shop, Frogurt. These girls have some great carseat dance moves. Crazy, funny - Chad and were laughing out loud. "Where do you come up with this stuff?" I asked them. Brynn's sweet reply? "I just do whatever feels funky." Rock on baby girl.

We dashed into Frogurt in the snow, literally the only ones who had ventured out for a frozen treat in the 20 something degree weather. We're from Utah - cold weather stock - makes us die hards. Parkas and frozen yogurt. An ideal combo.

She's funky alright.

We came home and decorated the Christmas tree. The girls had a great time, placing each ornament so thoughtfully. We wrapped up the evening with warm jammies and a Christmas story.

The tree is trimmed and the front room is twinkling with the warm glow of Christmas. It was a great night.
