Baby talk.
It's fun having Grace off track, especially because these rides home from preschool are providing a lot of comic fodder. Friday Grace and Brynn were talking about their cousins. The boys are coming for a visit in a couple of weeks and my girls are excited.
They were talking about all the great things they will do together and then started talking about Jake, now three, who's not really a baby anymore, but sure seems like a baby to a 5 year old and an 8 year old.
B: Jake, always calls me Binn. My name's BRRRynn. And your name is Grace, not Gace.
G: I know, but you have to be patient with him. He's little and he doesn't speak our language.
