Sparkly and Clean
Brynn was helping me clear the table after breakfast this morning. I asked her to move all the dishes to the counter and said I would wipe off the table. Then she looked at me with those wide, bright eyes of hers. She had that excited look she gets when she's had a great idea.
Brynn: "Hey! You know what?"
L: "What?"
B: "You should clean the table and then clean the dishes. Then you should clean my room and Grace's room and your room and downstairs and then our house will be sparkly and clean."
So, let me see if I get this straight. I should clean the whole house and then the house will be sparkly and clean? Yep, that's usually how it works.
Brynn: "Hey! You know what?"
L: "What?"
