Snow. Gear. Check.

The ritual winter wardrobing has begun. Everyone has new school clothes and shoes. Still have not put away the summer clothes. (HATE that job!) Finally got around to going through the winter gear.

My assessment:

Brynn
Coat: fits, but has broken zipper. Must be replaced. Survived 3 winters and 2 kids, I think we got our money's worth.
Fleece: perfect, bought on summer clearance
Bibs: Fit!! Third winter and they look good as new.
Gloves: Good
Hat: Squeezing the living daylights out of her brain. Time for a new one.
Boots: Like the Grinch's heart--2 sizes too small.

Grace
Coat: are wrists supposed to stick that far out of sleeves?
Fleece: bought on summer clearance
Bibs:
My what cute ankles you have there!

Coat and bibs did last 2 years, so we got a lot of wear out of them. They are pretty tattered and dingy, so even if they fit, probably time for a fresh outfit.

School Gloves: dirty!! Washed. Still really gross. Can't stand it. Need new ones.
Snowboarding Gloves: Good shape, were a tad on the expensive side when purchased, ridiculous parents worry they'll get lost at school. Say don't wear them to school. Parents are so unfair.
Hat: What hat? Did I used to have a hat? I can't remember having a hat.
Boots: Way too small for 8 year old feet, way too big for 4 year old feet (Can a Mother get a break?!?!)

Land's End Order includes:
2 coats
1 pair of bibs
2 pairs of boots
1 pair of gloves

Not a fan of Land's End Hats, so everyone still needs a new hat. Plan to tackle this weekend.

Snow arrived on Tuesday, October 27. New snow gear not scheduled to arrive until Monday, November 2.

Hate it when a good plan doesn't come together.

Brrr...
