The words only an adult will say...

Hung out with my fam last night. Scott, Ashley and Devin are here for Christmas. The great scrabble rematch of 09 has begun.

Mom made Cabbage Salad and Broccoli Salad for dinner and they were both wonderful. She also had a dozen donuts from a local donut shop and offered me one.

I responded to her offer by saying...

"In a minute, I want to finish my broccoli first."

Then I literally burst out laughing.

"In your lifetime, did you ever think you'd hear me say hold on I want to eat my broccoli before I have donut?"

"It is pretty weird, even for you," she replied.

It is official. I have grown up.
